My husband and I have been through a lot; we've been together for a really long time. In our relationship, many things have happened and we seem to always get through it. Sometimes I wonder just what or how much more we can go through. But as this quote reads, "LIfe is just one damn thing after another."
The author of this quote ended his life with the one he loved. On May 7, 1915 the boat thay were on was hit by torpedoes and sunk by the Germans. Instead of trying to escape into the sea, Elbert and his wife went into a room, shut the door behind them, and went to heaven together in the arms of each other.
I love my husband so much that, whatever life throws at us, I'll be in his arms until death do us part, through "One damned thing after another."

very true. after you get through one thing something else starts.
I Like your quote and how true it is. In life when a person get one problem solved at least two more is waiting for you.
this quote is oh so true, you take one step forward and 10 steps backward. It always makes it easier though when someone is there to go through it with you!
I know the feeling me and my fiance have been through so much and had to fight our own family to be together. Life never seems to leave well enoug alone.
I have just recently gotten married and I would have to agree with this to the fullest.
