Love Is Life

"Love is life. And if you miss love you miss life."
Leo Buscaglia

We live in a world where everyone is out for themselves. Nobody wants to help you or lend a hand anymore. If people would care about others, we would have a better world to live in. Life is about helping others in their time of need. I have had family, friend, and significant others turn their back on me and it hurts deeply. I'm still a caring person and will help others if I possibly can. Lend a hand to others, but don't go bankrupt in the process. It can be as simple as a shoulder to lean on, someone to talk to, or letting someone merge when driving down the road. It is the little things that matter most in life.

Leo Buscaglia helped others out in their time of need. He helped a Chinese refugee out while traveling in Hong Kong. Leo paid his tuition to an English language school. The Chinese guy was able to get his family out of the refugee camp. When he was able to pay Dr. Buscaglia the money back, the Dr. told him to help out another determined person with love.

Dr. Leo was an example of true love. He helped a whole family, gave them life, and didn't want a penny back in exhange. I cannot think of very many people like that today. Everyone wants the money back or something back in exchange. Without love, many people don't have a live, they just exist.

WOW! That is so true...but yet you always find yourself trying to plan your life out the way you want it to be and unfortunately it never turns out the way you want it! Good job!

Very Good Quote. As and Emt and a Firefighter in see alot of selfishness and no concern for anyone. There are only a few people in this world that actually truely care for our fellow man. Most of our Volunteer firefighters will drop everything even leave good jobs to help someone in need, not wanting any credit or praise.
Very Good Job.

It is sad but true you can help someone but when it comes to you they turn their back on you. That is how you find out who your true friends are. Good quote
